$5.99 a month or $59.99 a year for one camera, and $16.99 a month or $169.99 a year for up to ten cameras in one location. That is Lorex Connect Cloud+, and both tiers keep 60 days of events. Lorex sells it as an optional extra under the banner "No Monthly Fees". The catch is what it covers: Lorex's own FAQ says its recorders and wired cameras cannot use it yet. Everything here is from Lorex's own pages, read 28 September 2026.

Lorex's cloud plan is $5.99 a month for one camera, and it is an extra copy: the camera already records to a card without it. If the card is what you are missing, this is one made for all-day writing.

What does a Lorex subscription cost?

Lorex prints both prices, which several makers on this site's subscription tracker do not. They have not moved since this site first read them on 28 August 2026.

What Lorex Connect Cloud+ costs
PlanPer monthPer yearCamerasKept for
Single Camera$5.99$59.99160 days
Multi-Camera$16.99$169.99Up to 10, one location60 days

Lorex's own page, https://www.lorex.com/pages/connect-cloud, read 28 September 2026; unchanged since 28 August 2026. Both start with a 30-day free trial.

Both tiers keep the same 60 days; the only thing the dearer one buys is more cameras. Lorex's page gives the reason the plan exists: to "Store up to 60 days of key events so you can review them whenever you're ready".

Which Lorex cameras can use the cloud plan?

Four models, today. Lorex's own FAQ: "The currently supported models are IC101, IC501, FL301, and SL301. Support for OC101 will be available later. Recorders and wired cameras are not supported yet." So a Lorex recorder system cannot use the plan at all.

OC101Not yet"Support for OC101 will be available later"

Lorex Classic app devicesNo, a separate plan"Subscriptions cannot be shared between the two services"

Lorex's Connect Cloud+ FAQ, https://www.lorex.com/blogs/help/lorex-connect-cloud-faqs-troubleshooting, read 28 September 2026.

That is the part of the price nobody puts in a headline. Lorex is best known for recorder systems: several wired cameras writing to a hard drive in a box you own. Those cannot take Cloud+ at all today; the FAQ says recorder support "is coming soon", and for now "only smart home devices are covered". For a recorder system the question of a subscription does not arise, which is what the small-business page is about.

Is Lorex Connect Cloud+ worth it?

Only for a Lorex Connect camera you are afraid of losing. The cameras already record to a card with no plan; what Cloud+ adds, Lorex says, is "another way to access important footage, even if the camera goes offline or its SD card is removed".

Lorex's FAQ has the case that makes it worth something. If the camera is stolen and reset, you can still see its past cloud recordings "only if you do not delete the device from your account"; delete it and "you will permanently lose access to those historical cloud recordings". A card in a stolen camera goes with the thief. A cloud copy does not.

Everything else the camera does, it does without the plan: Lorex's cameras record to a card and detect on the camera, which is why the brand is on this site's list of those that work without a subscription. The full answer is on the Lorex page.

When is the Multi-Camera plan cheaper?

From the third camera. Three Single Camera plans cost $179.97 a year and one Multi-Camera plan $169.99, so at three cameras Multi-Camera is already $9.98 cheaper. That is this site's arithmetic on Lorex's own prices.

The arithmetic Lorex leaves to you
QuestionSumAnswer
Monthly for a year, Single Camera12 × $5.99$71.88
Saved by paying yearly$71.88 − $59.99$11.89
Three cameras on Single, a year3 × $59.99$179.97
Three cameras on Multi-Camera, a yearLorex's price$169.99

This site's arithmetic on Lorex's own prices, read 28 September 2026. Lorex prints the prices; it does not print these sums.

In practice the ceiling is the four supported models, not the ten-camera limit. Paying yearly is worth $11.89 on a single camera, and a camera you are not sure you will keep is the reason to pay monthly for the first one.

Is the Classic Cloud Plan the same thing?

No. Lorex runs two separate cloud services: Connect Cloud+ for the Lorex Connect app and the Classic Cloud Plan for the Lorex Classic app, and "Subscriptions cannot be shared between the two services." Which one applies depends on the app your camera uses. Lorex's pages read here do not print the Classic plan's price, so this page gives none; that plan belongs to the older app and its devices.

Can you get a refund on a Lorex plan?

It depends on where you paid. Lorex's subscription policy says Apple and Google handle refunds for plans bought in their stores, and "Lorex cannot issue refunds" for those; a plan bought on Lorex's website falls under Lorex's refund policy. After cancelling, you keep the plan to the end of the billing period.

Two lines in Lorex's subscription policy are worth knowing before paying. Renewal is automatic "unless canceled at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the current period". And "You will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect". How other makers handle refunds is on the refund page.

Does returning a Lorex camera cancel the plan?

No. Lorex says so directly: "Returning a device does not stop billing." The plan has to be cancelled separately, at least 24 hours before it renews, or the charges continue. "Failure to cancel your subscription separately from the device return process may result in continued billing." Returning the camera itself is a separate matter too, covered on the returns page.

If Lorex changes a price, adds recorder support or brings the OC101 in, this page gets the new answer and the new date. If a figure here is wrong, tell us and it is corrected the same way.

How this was checked

Every figure and quotation was read from Lorex's own pages on 28 September 2026: the plan page, https://www.lorex.com/pages/connect-cloud (including its FAQ); the Connect Cloud+ FAQ, https://www.lorex.com/blogs/help/lorex-connect-cloud-faqs-troubleshooting; and the subscription policy, https://www.lorex.com/pages/subscription-policy. The sums in the second table are this site's, and are labelled as such. Nothing was tested; nothing came from a review site. The roundup of which brands need a plan is here.
