Ring's own page lists them, and this week it renamed itself “legacy”. What you lose, what does not come back, and what the other makers publish.

I run SecureNest HQ. I do not test cameras — I read what the companies publish about them: plan pages, support articles, privacy notices and terms, and I record the date I read each one. That method is the whole point. Prices and plan names in this industry change often enough that most published comparisons are wrong within months, and a dated figure from the maker's own page is worth more than a confident undated one from anywhere else. Every article says what was checked, when, and what was not. Corrections are welcome and are made with the new date noted.

Yes, and Tapo is the only brand here that prints a free column on its own pricing page. AI detection is in it. Cloud history and snapshot alerts are not.

All eight alert you free. Three tell you it was a person; three charge for that. Wyze sends a still image instead of a video, and Ring records nothing.

Seven Ring plan pages, 55,584 words, two dollar figures — and both are overage charges. The pricing URL itself answers with HTTP 406: not acceptable.

If you cancel a camera subscription, do you get a refund?
Ring and Wyze say no outright. Blink refunds a plan bought on Amazon but not one bought on Blink.com. Google refunds the old plan, not the new one.

Yes, and Reolink says so itself. The camera records to a card, the person and vehicle detection runs on the camera, and the cloud is opt-in.

Live view works. Recording does not — Ring's own wording is that events are only recorded after you subscribe. Even its local storage needs a plan.

Yes, and the live view is genuinely unlimited. But a motion event gives you a still photo, not a clip — unless there is a card in the camera.
