Does Wyze Cam Unlimited have an annual plan?
Yes, and it costs $99.99 a year. It is one of four options in the plan selector on wyze.com's Cam Unlimited page, and it appears in the product data Wyze's own shop serves as the SKU cam-unlimited-annual, marked available when we read it.
That needs saying plainly, because the page most people land on does not. Wyze's service plans page is the one with three plan cards and a “Choose a Plan” heading; it gives Cam Unlimited as $9.99/mo and stops there. That page never uses the word “annual”.
What does a year of Cam Unlimited actually cost?
$99.99 if you pay for the year, $119.88 if you pay $9.99 twelve times. The gap is $19.89.
As a discount that is 16.59%, and Wyze advertises it in a dashed-border box on the Cam Unlimited page: “Save 17% off a Cam Unlimited annual plan”. Checked against Wyze's own two figures, the claim holds — 16.59 rounds to 17.
Months are the clearer unit. At $9.99 a month, $99.99 buys 10.01 months of service and Wyze gives you twelve, so a year up front is worth almost exactly two free months. Per month that is $8.33.

From https://www.wyze.com/products/cam-unlimited and https://www.wyze.com/pages/service-plans, read 13 August 2026 and re-checked 28 August 2026 — both still say what they said. The annual price saves $19.89, or 16.59%. The plans page writes its figure as "$99/year" with no cents; the bar above shows $99.00 because the chart is drawn from numbers, and the two are the same price.
Why does one Wyze page say $99 and the other $99.99?
Wyze does not say. What is checkable is which figure is attached to a purchase, and that one is not ambiguous: the annual option on the product page, and in the store data behind it, is $99.99.
The plans page answer looks like the older of the two. It still says “plenty of Cam Plus licenses” where the product page says “plenty of licenses”, and it carries an asterisk the newer page has dropped:
“*This price will remain the same upon renewal. Hooray!”
That promise sits under the lower of the two numbers, on the page that does not sell the plan. It is worth reading next to what this company did five months earlier, when it raised Cam Plus annual from $19.99 to $29.99 in March 2026 — a 50% increase, also absent from the plans page.

The two pages, side by side
Both sentences below are Wyze's, on Wyze's own product pages, captured at the times shown. They are the same sentence about the same plan, and they do not carry the same price.
We are not claiming either price is wrong. We are pointing out that a reader who checks Wyze's own site can come away with either number depending on which page they land on, and only one of them is what the checkout charges.
Is Cam Unlimited cheaper than paying per camera?
From four cameras up, yes. Annual Cam Plus is $29.99 per camera per year; annual Cam Unlimited is $99.99 for as many cameras as you own, and the two prices cross at 3.33 of them.
Three cameras on Cam Plus is $89.97 a year, still $10.02 under Unlimited. The fourth takes you to $119.96, which is $19.97 over. So a doorbell and three cameras is cheaper on the plan advertised at ten times the price — and buying both plans annually moves that line half a camera earlier than the monthly comparison does.

Do Wyze's other plans have annual prices too?
All three do, and all three are priced by the same rule. Cam Plus is $29.99 a year, Cam Unlimited $99.99 and Cam Unlimited Pro $199.99 — in each case, roughly ten months' money for twelve months of service.
The discounts land within a quarter of a point of one another: 16.42%, 16.59% and 16.63%. That is a policy, not three decisions.
What differs is how plainly each is published. Cam Unlimited Pro's page states it in the headline, “$19.99/mo (OR $199.99/yr)”. Cam Unlimited's headline says “$9.99/mo, covers ALL your cameras” and nothing about a year, so the annual figure has to be found in an FAQ or in the plan selector.

What should I check before paying for a year?
Three things, and the first one is where you live. Friendly Faces — the facial recognition that is the headline reason to move up from Cam Plus — is, in Wyze's own footnote, “not available to residents of Illinois”, and has limited functionality in California, Colorado, Connecticut, New York City, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington State.
Second, the renewal. Wyze's subscription policy says a plan “will automatically renew at the price and frequency listed, unless you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the current period”. On an annual plan, that is one day a year on which cancelling is simple.
Third, the money. The 30-day returns promise on wyze.com is written for hardware by its own wording — the policy states it applies to Wyze hardware products — and we found no published statement covering a part-used annual subscription. Twelve months up front is a twelve-month decision.
The alternative to all of it is not a cheaper plan. It is a camera that records to storage you own, where the yearly price is zero and stays there — the same conclusion as what happened when Nest Aware and Ring Home were renamed.

The $99.99 annual price was confirmed a second way, in the product data Wyze's own shop publishes for that page, where the annual option carries the SKU cam-unlimited-annual.
The percentages and the twelve-month totals are ours, calculated from Wyze's figures and checked in code: $9.99 × 12 is $119.88, less $99.99 leaves $19.89, which is 16.59%. One thing we could not open is the price shown at checkout, which sits behind a login on my.wyze.com — no Wyze account was used, no subscription was bought and no camera was tested for this article.
